Prayer by ~ Jim Epps

Anne, this is a special day for you and for us. It represents an ending and a beginning. This is the conclusion of eight years as an inner circle member of the Y family. We are all grateful for your friendship and hard work to help us fulfill our mission. You have provided a unique role within the family, and we are grateful for you and your contributions. You have added much and will be missed.
This day also represents a new beginning for you in a new vocational endeavor. We will continue to value you and know you will add much to your new work family by who you are and what you will take to your new work environment. We all wish you the best success and fulfillment of your hopes and goals. You will always be a member of the Y family.
Let us pray.
Lord God, for this day, for our friend, Anne, and others, and for this food we thank you.
We pray your blessings upon Anne in her new setting. May Anne and her girls always experience Your grace, Your presence, and Your guidance. May the Y spirit of love for God and our fellow travelers always be with them.
In your name we pray … Amen.
